Directions:
Main Route: Take Junction 18 off M4. 3rd exit off roundabout and follow A46 (10 miles) to Bath City Centre. Along Pulteney Road then right into Claverton Street and then follow A36 Lower Bristol Road (1.5 miles). Left under Railway bridge (signs Bath City FC) into Twerton High Street and ground is 2nd turning on left.
Alternative Route: Take Junction 19 off M4 onto M32. Junction 3 off M32 follow signs for Bath (A4). Through Keynsham (5 miles) and Saltford (8 miles) take right-hand exit off dual-carriage way onto Lower Bristol Road (A36). 1 mile right under Railway bridge (signs Bath City FC) then as above.
Third possible route: This route is for high vehicles (such as coaches) as it avoids a low bridge. Follow the alternative route until the roundabout at Newton St Low, before the dual carriageway, then take the 2nd exit (signs Combe Down) and follow this road for 1 mile then turn left (signs
Twerton) and ground is 3/4 mile on right.
Note: The alternative route is probably easier as Bath City Centre gets very busy on a Saturday and can be difficult to get through due to shut roads and the one-way system.

General Information:
Twerton Park became Bath City's ground in 1932. It can hold nearly 9,000 spectators with over 1,000 seated. It is currently shared with Team Bath F.C. who are a university team who play in the Southern League. This is larger than most grounds of clubs in equivalent divisions and is known to be one of a few of the last remaining 'classically British' football grounds in England. In the past it has been shared with Bristol Rovers, a Football League club and has hosted an epic league decider between Rovers and Bristol City, a fiercely competitive derby. Twerton Park is located in Twerton, a suburb of Bath.

A Fans View:
1. Why you were looking forward to going to the
ground (or not as the case may be)
I wasn't particularly excited about a Tuesday night in Bath, where in all
likelihood we would lose. This was despite a good point for Harriers the
previous Tuesday at Fleetwood and a fantastic win over AFC Wimbledon two days
before. The ground is however an ex-Football League ground, just not for Bath!
2. How easy was your journey/finding the ground/car parking
I went on the official supporters coach having been unable to find a lift. There
was a bit of traffic on the way and without directions it must be impossible to
find. It's down some back streets on the other side of Bath to the M5.
3. What you did before the game pub/chippy.... home fans friendly?
Considered the social club at the ground but wasn't in any mood for it, so I
bought a programme and waited for the turnstiles to open. Only spoke to the
programme sellers and one fan, but they were nice.
4. What you thought on seeing the ground, first impressions of away end then
other sides of the ground?
The away end is rubbish, but by no means the worst in the league. There are two
seated stands to the left, the one furthest away is quite smart, and the closer
one is for away fans if I remember correctly. Bath fans have two or three
brilliant banners which were at the end of the terrace nearest the away fans.
5. Comment on the game itself, atmosphere, stewards, pies, toilets etc..
Rubbish game which we were never really competing in. Bath took the lead fairly
early on with a long ball on the break. Then Dave Hankin hit the bar for us,
before a failed clearance fell perfectly for Bath to make it 2-0. They missed a
sitter in stoppage time and we hit the bar again but 2-0 was the final score.
The atmosphere was ok from the 109 travelling fans (not bad for a Tuesday
night!) and the home fans had a go when they were ahead. Food was very expensive
(burgers £3+), so I opted for the bacon bap (£2.50) which was ok. Stewards and a
police officer only appeared when missiles were being thrown from behind the
stand, but this was quickly resolved.
6. Comment on getting away from the ground after the game:
Took a while to navigate back out of Bath but there wasn't much traffic from the
700 odd crowd
7. Summary of overall thoughts of the day out:
A really poor night for me - a rubbish result and match, coupled with severe
man-flu! I wouldn't begrudge going back next year - provided it isn't raining as
the ground has a character and history, and their fans seemed a friendly bunch.
