Church Road
By Road: Leave M25 at Junction 16, and head westbound along the A40(M) towards London. Pass over one large junction (Denham Roundabout) and under another (Swakeleys Roundabout). Take the next slip road (Hillingdon). At the traffic lights, turn right into Long Lane (A437). At the traffic lights at the end of Long Lane, turn left onto the Uxbridge Road (A4020). Hayes is about two miles away. Look for the Adam & Eve pub alongside the shops on the left. Turn right into Church Road opposite. The ground is on the right after approximately 500 yards.
Alternatively, leave the M4 at Junction 3, and head north onto the A312. Cross the first large roundabout onto the Hayes bypass, then take the A4020 Uxbridge Road westbound. After crossing three sets of traffic lights, turn left into Church Road (opposite the Adam & Eve pub).
By Train: Hayes & Harlington is the nearest station, served by trains from London Paddington and Reading. Turn right out of the station and walk through the shopping area to the end of the pedestrianised area.
Turn left into Botwell Lane. Just after the swimming pool, turn right at the roundabout into Church Road, and the ground is on your on the left. Total distance: approximately one

Pub Guide
A brief insight as where to have a drink and grab a bite to eat before we slaughter you. If it isn't here I don't go there and suggest you don't either.
The club bar is as good a place as any for a drink if that's all you want, but it may get a bit crowded prior to kick off. We are not short of pubs in Hayes, just short of quality! Those worth visiting are....
The Golden Cross
A "Hungry Horse". From Hayes Station turn right and walk through the town centre. Turn left when you meet the road. After passing the swimming pool on your right, turn left at the mini roundabout (turn right 'Church Road' for the ground). The pub is down this road 'Botwell Lane' on the left.
The Grange
From the ground. Turn left. Turn left again at the vandalised and boarded up soon to be demolished once loved Royal Oak, past the
graffiti strewn, no go area after dark called a park on your right. Up to the crumbling roundabout, 4th exit. Pub bottom of road on your left. Park the car where you can see it, as to identify the bastards trying to nick the stereo from it.
The Grapes
Steakhouse/hotel. On the Uxbridge Road by the Hayes By-Pass.
Master Brewer Hotel, Hillingdon
Just off the A40, junction with Long Lane.
The Heath Tavern, Hillingdon
Uxbridge Road as you approach Hayes from the west.
Disabled Facilities: Wheelchair spaces accommodated as necessary. Helpers are admitted for for a prices of £4.00
(season 2001-2002). There are also disabled toilets.
General Information:
A decent ground with a bit of unique atmosphere and I am not sure why. The usual collection of a main stand and terracing on the 3 other sides.
Last Season: 13th, Conference South League
Average Attendance: 265
A Supporters View:
I understand that some regard the town of Newport as a tad rough although I've been there a few times and found it OK. Maybe Newport supporters should come to Hayes and see a proper armpit of a town and then you may realise that your town isn't that bad after all. Once you get to the club you should be afforded a warm welcome and although the result would have been a disappointment I don't think those of you who made the journey to us last season had any grounds for complaints about the time you spent with us.
Good:- The social club, The parking, The people, The tea/burger bar. The old fashioned no thrills ground. The club shop.
Bad:- Hayes town centre (ghetto area), The cue for the tea bar, Beer prices compared to Newport.
The WOOLPACK pub is worth adding to the list of pubs for pre /post match entertainment due to having strippers on from dinnertime onwards. (5 mins drive from the ground on Dawley Road), it was legendary with away supporters when we were in the Conference. There is pretty good parking available inside the ground. A old fashion no thrills non league ground with a tea hut /burger bar, just how it should be in my opinion for this standard of football. A hardcore support of around 250/300 who will make this an intimidating place for your players, but no trouble for your fans. The team is very young and any player that shows real quality will move on for more money or a transfer fee that we cant refuse. Personally I think that we shall finish around mid table.
It is a no frills, old-fashioned non league ground but there aren't many around with a ground record of 15,000!
